A s*x toy was thrown onto the court during Thursday night’s WNBA game between the Atlanta Dream and Los Angeles Sparks at Crypto.com Arena, briefly stopping play and reviving an unusual disruption that had affected WNBA games nearly a year earlier. Atlanta Dream star Angel Reese spotted the fan who threw the object and alerted security.

The incident occurred during a game that otherwise belonged to Reese and the Dream, The New York Times reported. Atlanta defeated Los Angeles 124-88, with Reese producing a near triple-double while shooting a perfect 9-for-9 from the field and 2-for-2 from three-point range. The incident was also captured on video and circulated online. New York: Registered S*x Offender Uses Social Media and Free Tattoos To Lure and S*xually Assault Minors.

S*x Toy Toss Halts WNBA Game

Play was temporarily interrupted after the object landed on the court. Video from the arena showed Reese pointing toward the spectator she believed was responsible. She then appeared to laugh about the incident with a teammate.

In the video, Reese said, "Did you see that? That b*tch was like seven inches." The disruption recalled a series of incidents in 2025 in which green s*x toys were thrown onto WNBA courts, prompting game interruptions and investigations. S*x Doll Mistaken for Murder Victim After Being Found in Abandoned Suitcase in Australia.

Angel Reese Nears Triple-Double

While the unusual incident briefly became the focus of attention, Reese was one of the standout performers of the night. The Dream forward finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists and three steals, going 9-for-9 from the field and 2-for-2 from beyond the three-point line.

Atlanta's 36-point victory over Los Angeles also extended the Dream's winning streak to two games. The result strengthened Atlanta's momentum as the team moved forward in the season. The Dream's next game is scheduled for Saturday night against the Phoenix Mercury on the road.

For Reese and Atlanta, the focus now shifts back to basketball after a game that produced both a dominant team performance and an unusual interruption.

The latest incident comes nearly a year after a series of similar disruptions involving s*x toys being thrown onto WNBA courts. Those incidents generated widespread online attention and prompted authorities to investigate the people responsible. The recurrence of the stunt has again drawn attention to spectator behaviour and security at professional women's basketball games.
