A North Carolina man is recovering after surviving a harrowing 120-foot fall from an overlook near McDonald Falls in Glacier National Park, saved by the quick actions of a nearby bystander and a helicopter rescue crew. The incident occurred on August 13, when Ken Nurse, visiting the Montana park with his wife Renae, family, and friends, moved close to the edge of an overlook to take photographs.

The ground beneath him gave way, plunging him down the cliff and into Upper McDonald Creek. A bystander who heard the impact spotted Nurse face down in the water. The witness waded into the creek, pulled Nurse to the shallows, and immediately began performing CPR after realising he was not breathing. Park rangers quickly arrived on the scene to assist and coordinate an emergency medical extraction. Amazon Prime Air Drone Drops Customer’s Package Into Swimming Pool During Her First Drone Delivery, Video Goes Viral.
