Hyderabad Vet Gangrape & Murder Case: Culprits Should Be Hanged Till Death, Says Victim’s Father

Father of the Hyderabad vet who was gangraped and murdered said the culprits should be awarded the harshest punishment. He wants the culprits to be hanged soon. While speaking to ANI, the victims’ father said, “The culprits should be given the harshest punishment. They should be punished as soon as possible. We have confidence in the law. They should be hanged in a month or two. We are waiting for just that. Laws have been made, but they are not being implemented. Take Nirbhaya's case, the accused have not been punished. There are possibilities that such things will happen again as there is no time-bound punishment given. It’s good that the case is being handled in a fast track court. The 14 days things was then brought down to seven. They gave me some assurance.”
