Jumu'atul-Wida 2024: Date, History And Significance Of The Last Friday Of Holy Month Ramadan Observed By Muslims Across The Globe

Muslims across the world fast during the holy month of Ramadan. Muslims in India and around the globe fast from dawn to dusk during Ramadan. Muslims will also soon observe Jumu'atul-Wida, also spelt as Jumma Tul Wida and known as Alvida Juma. The Jumu'atul-Wida translating to "Friday of Farewell” is observed on the last Friday of Ramadan. On the last Friday of Ramadan, Muslims express sadness as the holy month is about to end and also express gratitude for its blessings. In 2024, the last Friday of Ramadan will fall on April 5.
