BJP’s loss in Karnataka is a great boost for Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in Maharashtra. On May 14, state NCP chief Jayant Patil said they will take small parties along and challenge the BJP in the 2024 elections. Leaders of MVA attended a meeting at NCP chief Sharad Pawar's residence in Mumbai on May 14. Patil told reporters that MVA (Sena (UBT), NCP, and Congress) will work out a seat-sharing formula ahead of the Lok Sabha and the Maharashtra assembly elections in 2024. Uddhav Thackeray of Shiv Sena (UBT) and state Congress Chief Nana Patole, attended the meeting. Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut said, "If there was 40 per cent corruption in Karnataka, there is 100 per cent corruption in Maharashtra.” In Karnataka, Congress won 135 seats of the 224 assembly seats. BJP won only 66 seats. JD(S) won only 19 seats. Watch the video to know more.
