A speeding car rammed into a delivery pickup tempo on Wednesday (June 18) evening in Pune district of Maharashtra. At least 8 people died and four others including two children suffered injuries in the accident which took place at around 6:45 PM on the Jejuri-Morgaon Road. According to police, the owner of Shriram Dhaba, Somnath Wayse, was unloading a refrigerator from a delivery pickup vehicle when a Swift Dzire car suddenly rammed into them from behind at high speed. While eight people including Somnath Wayse died on the spot, four injured are undergoing treatment at Shantai Hospital in Jejuri.
