On January 2, Mumbai Police took to X to inform people that enough stock of petroleum products is available in the city. Mumbai Police also said that they are providing adequate security to the tankers supplying petroleum products in Mumbai. Mumbaikars rushed to petrol stations to refill their vehicles amid the strike called by truckers across the country against the new provisions on hit-and-run road accidents.
