Vada pav, Mumbai’s popular street food, is the 13th best sandwich in the world. Vada Pav made it to the list of top 50 best-rated sandwiches in the world. TasteAtlas, a Croatian-based experiential travel guide has published the list. Vada is made of spicy mashed potatoes and is a quick-fill for all. The potato mix is made into balls and they are covered in chickpea batter and then it is deep fried. The famous snack is served in a sliced Pav with three different chutneys made of garlic, pudina, and dates. The recipe is said to have originated in Dadar, Mumbai. Watch the video to know more.
