On October 10, The World Celebrates World Mental Health Day With The Goal Of Raising Public Awareness Of Mental Health. Since The COVID-19 Pandemic, The Number Of People Suffering From Mental Illness Has Rapidly Increased. Adults As Well As Little Ones, Suffer From Poor Mental Health. In India, Approximately 14% Of Children Suffer From Depression. World Mental Health Day Also Emphasises On The Importance Of Taking Steps To Protect And Care For One's Mental Health. To Demonstrate The Importance Of Mental Health, Many Seminars, Workshops, And Events Are Held Around The World. The Concept Of World Mental Health Day Was Proposed In 1992, In Cape Town, During The World Federation For Mental Health Congress. Following Approval Of This Proposal, The First World Mental Health Day Was Observed On October 10, 1992. Poor Mental Health Not Only Leads To Diseases Such As Depression But Also Has An Impact On The Physical Health And Livelihood Of Those Affected. Instead Of Feeling Anxious And Nervous, This Day Encourages People To Seek Help For Their Mental Health.
