Flexible Work Systems To Be Reviewed And Updated

The third initiative focuses on enhancing flexible work systems by reviewing and updating relevant policies and frameworks in line with international best practices. As part of the programme, DGHR will review and develop flexible working policies, giving government entities greater scope to adopt work arrangements that respond to employees' needs while ensuring operational requirements are met.

The initiatives are based on findings from a comprehensive DGHR study aimed at establishing a unified framework for employee experience across all Dubai Government entities. The announcement follows other recent DGHR efforts on workplace flexibility, including the "Our Flexible Summer" programme, which offered alternative work schedules to government employees during the hottest months of the year and reported strong gains in productivity and employee satisfaction.
