Washington DC, July 21: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, who arrived in the United States on Saturday on a three-day official visit, had to commute in a metro to make it to his destination, after there was no officials from US authorities to receive the Pakistan Prime Minister. In addition to this, it is reported that Imran Khan will stay at Pakistan Ambassador’s official residence to save the hotel expenses. A video shared on Twitter shows Imran Khan landing in the US in a Qatar Airlines plane and taken into the metro where Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi receives Imran Khan. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is slated to meet the President of the United States (POTUS), Donald Trump, on Monday, July 22 at the White House. Khan will also meet the other lawmakers at Capitol Hill later.

Imran Khan will be in Washington DC and will reportedly meet IMF acting chief David Lipton and World Bank President David Malpass on his official trip. Reports claim that Imran Khan will also address a gathering of Pakistani Americans. The speech will take place at the capitol One Arena in Washington DC on Sunday. Khan is then scheduled to speak at the US Institute of Peace think-tank, on Tuesday, July 22. US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will call on the Pakistan Prime Minister on Tuesday, said reports.
