Howrah(WB), Dec 27 (PTI) Three persons were killed and 12 injured when a pickup van carrying construction workers fell into a culvert in West Bengal's Howrah district on Friday, police said.

The driver of the pickup lost control over the speeding vehicle at Sakhotala and it fell into a culvert, they said.

Three persons died on the spot while the 12 injured were rushed to Amta Health Centre, the police added. PTI
