Chennai, Jul 27 (PTI) R Anupama, bronze medalist at World Under-16 Women Snooker Championship last year, outplayed Sheikh Sohail of Andhra by three frames to nil in a fourth round match in the Q-Lounge All-India Open Snooker Championship 2019 here Saturday.

Chennai cueist Anupama with a good mix of safety play and potting started aggregating points to put pressure on Nellore-based Sohail.

Having won the first two frames handily, Anupama hit top form in the third and scored more points to seal an easy win.

Results: Round 4: Shoaib (Q-Ball City) beat Ajeesh (Cue Zone) 3-0 (62-22, 59-38, 55-17); R Anupama (Mylapore) beat Sheik Sohail (AP) 3-0 (56-35, 47-31, 84-27); Dilip (Cue Zone) beat Rajan (SVS) 3-0 (53-9, 62-2, 77-37); Riyaz (Q- Lounge) beat Imran (Smart Shooters) 3-2 (50-24, 18-71, 64-90, 58-20, 54-18).

Nazir (Q-Bball City) beat Manoj Dasarathan (Towers Club) 3-2 (43-57, 68-59, 47-59, 54-17, 60-42); Santhosh (Coimbatore) beat Abdul Rahman (Q-Lounge) 3-2 (53-76, 54-40, 79-31, 12-59, 60-40).

Round 5: Yeshwanth (Cue Zzone) beat Rajmohan (Cues & You) 3-0 (61-15, 47-18, 46-31); Yaser (Q-Ball City) beat Naresh 3-2 (12-50, 70-31, 15-54, 51-15, 55-42).
