New Delhi, Sept 11: Tata Communications said Monday that its Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer James Parker has resigned to explore new opportunities outside the company.

"Vinod Kumar, the company's MD and CEO, will assume oversight of the sales organisation effective immediately and continue to steer the business forward as a global digital infrastructure provider," Tata Communications said in a statement.

Plans for new leadership of this team will be finalised in the coming months, the statement added.

NSE Academy, Wharton School's online portal inks pact

* NSE Academy Monday signed a pact with Knowledge@Wharton, the online journal of research and business analysis of Wharton School, to impart financial knowledge and skills to high school students across the country.

"The 9th and 10th-grade students in Tier II and III cities would get a great opportunity to have access to the courses from Wharton School, a leading business school," said the National Stock Exchange (NSE) in a statement.

The course will be delivered through a digital platform and will enable students in smaller towns to understand the complexities of finance, it added.
