Pathanamthitta (Kerala) [India], Mar 9 (ANI): After confirmed coronavirus cases reached five in the state, the Pathanamthitta administration on Sunday declared that all educational institutes will remain closed in the district for three days.The administration, however, said that class 10 exams will be held as per schedule.It advised that students with possible symptoms of fever should refrain from attending exams and classes and informed that these students will get a chance to give their exams later.Mask and sanitizers will be provided in classes, the administrations said.Earlier today, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that Kerala has been put on high alert."The state has been put on high alert following confirmation of five coronavirus positive cases. Those returning from Covid-19 affected countries should immediately contact the health authorities," Vijayan said in a statement.Earlier, Centre had suspended visas and e-visas granted on or before March 3 to people travelling from Italy, Iran, South Korea, and Japan.India has 39 confirmed cases of deadly coronavirus. The deadly virus has caused the deaths of 3300 people globally. (ANI)
