Bahraich (UP), Mar 1 (PTI) A teenage girl was killed after being attacked by a leopard in Matiapurwa village near Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, police said Friday.

The incident took place Thursday when Pushpa (14) was working in her field.

By the time villagers rushed to her rescue, she had succumbed to her injuries, police said.

The body has been sent for postmortem.
