London, Apr 18 (PTI) Actor Hannah Murray says she decided to take break from the entertainment industry to focus on her education.
The 29-year-old actor, who became famous courtesy her role in British teen comedy-drama television series "Skins", believes getting a degree in English literature will help her in becoming a better performer.
"I just wanted to do it. I really loved literature and I wanted to take a bit of time out from the industry. I've got friends who are doctors and lawyers. I think an English degree really helps with acting," Murray said during an appearance on British TV show "Lorraine".
The actor will now be seen in the final season of HBO fantasy drama "Game of Thrones" as Wildling girl Gilly.
She is also part of "Charlie Says", the movie about the notorious cult leader Charles Manson. PTI
