New Delhi [India], July 23 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin on Thursday challenged Congress leader and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi and the Opposition to come forward and discuss issues concerning students and youth, including the NEET examination, in Parliament, alleging that their "duplicity" would be exposed if they participated in a debate.

Nabin's remarks came in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's X post on setting up fast-track courts to ensure stringent punishment for those involved in paper leaks.

Speaking to reporters, Nabin said, "The NDA government is fully prepared to discuss the future of students and youth at every level. However, Rahul Gandhi, the Congress, and the entire opposition are shying away from the discussion because they know that if they come to the floor of the House to discuss it, their duplicity will be exposed to the public and youth."

"We issue an open challenge: Come, we are ready to discuss every issue, including NEET, on the floor of Parliament. Rahul Gandhi's political image has been that of a fugitive. The BJP MPs and the NDA government are ready to discuss every issue and answer every question," he added.

The BJP chief further alleged that Rahul Gandhi and the Congress would not come forward for a discussion due to their "long history, spanning 50-60 years, of deceiving, provoking, and misleading the youth."

"But I know that Rahul Gandhi and his clan will never come forward for discussion because of their long history, spanning 50-60 years, of deceiving, provoking, and misleading the youth. Today, the BJP and the NDA government have given the future of youth a positive direction," Nabin said.

He also accused the Opposition of viewing the youth only as "stone-penetrators" and said that the NDA government, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was committed to building a bright future for young people.

"They (opposition) see youth only as stone-penetrators. But the vision of the NDA government, and Narendra Modi, is that we are fully committed to building a bright future for the youth and are fully committed to securing their future," he said.

"Strict action will be taken against those who have appeared in the examination, and I believe that today the youth of the country are fully with the Prime Minister," Nabin added.

The BJP president reiterated that the government was ready to debate issues concerning students in Parliament.

"The NDA government is fully prepared to discuss the future of students at every level; however, Rahul Gandhi, the Congress, and the entire opposition are shying away from this discussion because they know that if they come to the House to debate, their double standards will be exposed to the students," he said.

Further, BJP MP Tarun Chugh said the government was committed to protecting the interests of the country's youth and asserted that strict action would be taken against those involved in paper leaks.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the government of the country are committed to the welfare of the youth of the country. These are our children, but some people, to further their political interests, are playing with the future of the children," Chugh said.

"Not a single culprit involved in the paper leak case will be spared. Strict action will be taken and Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has given assurance. There will be a fast-track court also. Not a single culprit will be spared and the strictest action will be taken against the culprits," he added.

BJP MP Madan Rathore also welcomed the move, saying that strong laws and speedy justice were needed to prevent paper leaks. "It is the PM's motive that no accused is spared. It is an appropriate step to prevent paper leaks. A strong law and speedy justice are needed," Rathore said.

Meanwhile, MPs from both the NDA and INDIA bloc were seen protesting against each other at Makar Dwar inside the Parliament premises. Both the NDA and India Bloc MPs groups were face to face at Makar Dwar.
