New Delhi [India], September 4 (ANI): A man was stabbed to death in Delhi's Anand Parbat area, the police said on Monday.
The deceased, identified as Pappu, was a resident of Shastri Nagar and a native of Uttar Pradesh's Basti.
He worked as a caretaker of the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) toilet, the police added.
"Today, information was received at about 6:00 a.m. that at Holi Chowk, Punjabi Basti, Baljeet Nagar, Anand Parbat area, one person, named Pappu, resident of Shastri Nagar Delhi, Permanent Resident of Basti (Uttar Pradesh), Age 40-45 yrs stabbed to death. The deceased was the caretaker of the DUSIB Toilet Complex. Police teams are on the spot. FSL and the Crime team have been called for inspection of the scene of the crime and to preserve evidence", the police said.

Meanwhile, the police are scanning the CCTV cameras in the neighbourhood.
