Jammu (Jammu and Kashmir) [India], June 24 (ANI): The fire officials have managed to control the fire that broke out at a scrapyard in the Trikuta Nagar area, Jammu, a fire official said on Sunday.

Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) South, Manu Hansa told ANI that the fire personnel will be able to bring the blaze under control very soon.

"We have controlled the fire to a big extent. Fire tenders are present here... We will be able to douse the fire completely soon... The fire is contained in the scrapyard only. It has not reached the residential area," Hansa said.

Earlier, a massive fire broke out at a scrapyard in Jammu's Trikuta Nagar area, officials said on Sunday.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

So far, no injuries or causality have been reported, the official said. (ANI)
