Shillong, Nov 8 (PTI) Meghalaya's COVID-19 tally rose to 10,202 on Sunday as 155 more people tested positive for the infection, a senior health department official said.
The new cases were reported from East Khasi Hills district (69), Ri Bhoi (61), West Garo Hills (11), East Garo Hills (7), South Garo Hills (5) and West Jaintia Hills district (2), he said.
The COVID-19 active cases in the state has climbed to 1,034, Health Services Director, Aman War said.
He said 116 patients recovered from COVID-19 on Sunday, taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 9,075.

The COVID-19 death toll in the state remained at 93 as no fresh fatality was reported in the state, War said.
A total of 2.12 lakh samples have been tested for COVID-19 so far, he added.
