Raipur (Chhattisgarh) [India], July 1 (ANI): Three persons, including a woman, were killed after a passenger bus collided with a truck in Raipur on Monday morning, police said.

The incident in which six persons were also injured took place on Raipur-Jagdalpur National Highway near village Kendri under Abhanpur Police station limits, police said

Further probe into the case is underway.

In a similar development, at least four people lost their lives and five others sustained injuries in a powerful explosion at a firecracker factory in Chinnakamanpatti near Sivakasi on Tuesday, according to the Virudhunagar District Police.

The injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Virudhunagar for treatment, officials said.
