Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], September 7 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday will launch the ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana’, a significant initiative aimed at supporting the career and prospects of the state’s youth. Under the scheme, young aspirants will receive free online coaching and quality study material to prepare for various competitive examinations.
According to the Chief Minister's Office (CMO), the initiative seeks to provide better guidance and essential resources to young people preparing for competitive exams, ensuring that financial constraints do not stand in the way of talented students pursuing their dreams.

Under the scheme, students enrolled in universities as well as government and aided colleges across Uttarakhand will be provided online coaching for a range of competitive examinations, including Civil Services (UPSC and State Public Service Commissions), Defence Services (CDS), Banking, Railways and SSC.
The programme will also offer guidance for higher education and eligibility examinations such as CAT, MAT, GATE, NET and CSIR-NET.

The Mukhyamantri Yuva Bhavishya Nirman Yojana is expected to be particularly beneficial for students from remote and hilly areas of Uttarakhand. With access to expert guidance from home, students will no longer need to travel to major cities in search of quality coaching.
On Friday, CM Dhami transferred the August 2026 pension instalment under various social security pension schemes of the Social Welfare Department through a one-click payment mechanism from the Chief Minister’s Camp Office.
A total of Rs 147.05 crore was transferred directly into the bank accounts of 9,91,914 beneficiaries. In August, pensions of 5,605 new beneficiaries were also sanctioned under various pension schemes.
The Chief Minister said that providing social security to the weaker, needy and deprived sections of society is a priority of the state government. He said the government is committed to ensuring that every eligible person receives the benefits of social security schemes in a simple and timely manner. He directed officials to address practical difficulties arising in the implementation of pension schemes with sensitivity. (ANI)
