New Delhi [India], September 29 (ANI): Army Hospital (Research and Referral) organized a clientele education lecture on 'Common cardiac diseases- Latest trends' on the occasion of World Heart Day on Friday.
The lecture was attended by officers and ladies from various units in the Delhi area.

Lt Gen Ajith Nilakantan, Commandant, Army Hospital (R&R) welcomed the attendees and wished that the new initiative of clientele education lecture would go a long way in improving the health status of the troops and their families.
The lecture was chaired by Brig G Keshavamurthy, Consultant & HOD Cardiology and delivered by Col Ratheesh Kumar J, Sr Adv Medicine & Cardiologist.

The lecture initiated a lot of interest and was followed by an interactive session. Queries from the audience were answered by the experts.
The experts discussed about common cardiac diseases, risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
The hospital also organised a poster competition for nursing cadets to promote heart health concepts and creativity among the students. (ANI)
