Jaipur, Jul 27 (PTI) A 43-year-old man was murdered at his home in Rajasthan's Jalore district, police said on Saturday.

On Friday night, around four attackers barged into Vijayraj Dewasi's home in Bawatra village and attacked him with sharp edged weapons, Additional SP Rameshwar Lal said.

Dewasi died on the spot, the police said.

His family members refused to accept the body and demanded immediate arrest of the accused involved in the crime.

Dewasi contested the 2013 assembly elections from Siwana seat.
