New Delhi, Sep 26 (PTI) Life Insurance Corporation Wednesday launched a group insurance scheme for the members of Supreme Court Bar Association.

The group insurance policy for the SCBA will be given to its members without any prior medical check-up, LIC Chairman V K Sharma said at the launch of the scheme here.

Chief Justice Dipak Misra noted that functioning on an arithmetic-based formula LIC gives assurance to its policyholders of their claims.

Sharma highlighted that the direction the Corporation gets from the judiciary is very honest while serving the people and it will continue to fulfil people's trust.

"Direction we are getting from the judiciary are very-very honest. In the matter of trust of people, the only one organisation I cannot compete is judiciary," Sharma said.
