Hyderabad, Apr 29 (PTI) Many places in Telangana sizzled Monday with the highest maximum temperature of 45.3 degrees Celsius reported in Adilabad.

Adilabad was followed by Nizamabad (45), Ramagundam (43.8), Medak (43.6) and Nalgonda (43.5), according to the Met centre of India Meteorological department here.

Several other places witnessed maximum temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius, it said.

In its forecast, the Met office said light to moderate rain or thundershowers is very likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana on Tuesday.
