US President Donald Trump joined in expressions of optimism about trade talks with Canada, saying today that negotiations were going well.
Washington, Aug 29 (AFP) US President Donald Trump joined in expressions of optimism about trade talks with Canada, saying today that negotiations were going well.
"With Canada, I think we are doing really well," he said at the White House, as US and Canadian and US trade officials continued talks nearby to rewrite the North American Free Trade Agreement.
Just two days ago, Trump announced an agreement with Mexico on a NAFTA rewrite and said it could proceed without Canada. (AFP) SCY
