Tehran, Jul 31 (AP) Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard said Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was assassinated in Tehran.

The statement gave no details on how Haniyeh was killed. State TV reported on his death early Wednesday. (AP)
