TVS Motor Company has officially launched a new special edition of its popular Sport motorcycle for the festive season. Priced at an attractive point of Rs 40,088 (ex-showroom Delhi), the special edition Sport comes with a longer seat and a wider handle for the pillion. The motorcycle also sports sharp and bold look underlined by premium 3D logo and stylish side mirrors. The Special Edition motorcycle from TVS Motor is the first 100cc motorcycle to feature optional Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT). Powering the motorcycle is the same 99.7cc air-cooled single cylinder engine, which is also equipped on the regular version of Sport. The petrol unit is capable of generating maximum power of 7.5PS and 7.8Nm of peak torque. The transmission duties are carried out by 4-speed manual gearbox. The company has officially claimed that Sport motorcycle is capable of returning mileage of 95 kmpl.

The special edition motorcycle comes with conventional telescopic forks at the front and traditional twin spring shock absorbers at the back. The deceleration duties on the TVS Sport motorcycle are carried out by 130mm drum brake upfront and a 110mm drum brake at the back. Feature-wise, the motorcycle is equipped with all-gear electric start, aluminium grab rail, chrome muffler guard and a sporty instrument cluster. Moreover, the company has introduced the Special Edition of the Sport motorcycle in two versions - electric start and kick start alloy wheel variants.

The limited edition motorcycle comes in two exciting paint schemes - black with red-silver decals and black with blue-silver decals. The special edition of the entry-level bike from TVS Motor competes against Hero Splendor and Bajaj Platina, which is one of the bestselling motorcycles in the segment.
