Kia Carnival MPV Bags 1,410 Bookings In Just One Day; India Launch at Auto Expo 2020

Kia Motors India has officially announced that the upcoming 2020 Kia Carnival MPV has already bagged 1,410 bookings on the first day itself. To be launched in India at Delhi Auto Expo next month, the pre-bookings for the 2020 Carnival MPV were opened yesterday wherein the company has received an overwhelming response from the market. The interested customers can book the MPV with an upfront payment of Rs 1 lakh via official Kia Motor India website. Additionally, the prospect buyers can also hit the nearest Kia touch points across the country for booking the Carnival. The company has also claimed that it has received around 64 percent of the overall bookings for the top-of-the-line Limousine trim. Kia Carnival 2020 MPV: Everything To Know.

The 2020 Kia Carnival MPV will boast class-redefining luxury as well as amazing performance. It is important to note that the Carnival will be Kia Motors' second product on the Indian soil. The MPV will be offered in mutliple seating options including 7-seater, 8-seater and 9-seater configurations. And, the Canival will be offered in three trim levels - Premium, Prestige and Limousine.

On the mechanical front, the Carnival will be offered in a single engine configuration, powered by a 2.2L VGT BS6 compliant diesel engine that is capable of churning out 200PS of power against peak torque of 440Nm. The engine will come mated to an 8-speed Sportsmatic transmission.

As far as the features are concerned, the new Kia Carnival will be offered with several first-in-class features like dual panel electric sunroof, VIP seats with 10.1-inch dual touchscreen infotainment system at the rear, One-touch power sliding door, smart power tailgate and much more. Additionally, the Carnival will also come equipped with 37 UVO smart connected car features.

Lastly, the company will be announcing the prices for all the variants of Kia Carnival on February 5, 2020 at the Auto Expo. The Kia Carnival will be packed against the likes of Toyota Vellfire & Mercedes-Benz V-Class.
