Maruti Suzuki India Launches ‘Suzuki Connect’ Advanced Telematics Solution for Nexa Customers

Maruti Suzuki, country’s leading auto manufacturer has officially launched an advanced telematics solution ‘Suzuki Connect’ for its Nexa customers, wherein the car maker is looking to enhance convenience and experience through this solution. The Indo-Japanese car maker brings the new solution for adding convenience to the customers by providing emergency alerts, vehicle tracking, love vehicle status as well as preventive calls. The new advanced technology solution will be made available for the buyers as an option for their cars across Nexa network throughout the country. When installed and connected on the smartphone, the new system will proffer the customers with progressive features like emergency alerts, vehicle tracking, driving behaviour analysis, car assistance, driving analytics report and various other features.

One of the main highlights of the system is that it comes deeply embedded and is very difficult to crack for tampering. Moreover, the car maker will be training more than 2800 technicians for installing the equipment on the Nexa cars.

‘Suzuki Connect’ system from Maruti Suzuki employs a Telematics Control Unit (TCU) that can easily exchange information through cellular network through a centralised server that is linked to NEXA customer care. In the case of emergency, Suzuki Connect can send information up to 5 selected users.
