New Delhi, January 4 : Homegrown auto giant Tata Motors is all braced up to have a sprawling display at the Auto Expo 2023 to grab maximum attention of the car enthusiasts and buyers. Amid a whole new armada of concept cars, SUVs and EVs, the updated versions of the Safari and Harrier premium SUVs are also likely to be showcased at the mega event.

The Tata Safari and the Tata Harrier facelift models have been already spied testing the tarmac quite a few times. The Tata Safari and the Tata Harrier Facelift – Update Details :

Given these two SUVs are going to be refreshed, they will definitely receive cosmetic updates. Both the models will get styling refreshments both on the outside and inside to offer a fresh visual appeal. Both Harrier and Safari facelifts will also get a handful of added new features, safety updates as well as some tech upgrades to beat the stiff market competition.

The most important upgrade will be the addition of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features. Both the Tata SUV models will get the highly coveted ADAS tech package, which will include features such as autonomous emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation system, driver monitoring system, electronic stability control (ESC), etc. Another very important feature addition will be the 360-degree camera, which is sorely missed on these SUVs currently.

Other in-cabin feature updates will include new colour theme, larger touchscreen infotainment system display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, connected car tech and more.

Tata Safari and Harrier SUVs, both get the same powertrain under their hoods and this is going to be retained with nominal tweaks at the most for the facelift versions. The SUVs pack in a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine generating 168bhp of max power and 350Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission options.

The 2023 Tata Harrier facelift is expected to be officially launched in the Indian market by mid-2023, while the 2023 updated Safari is expected to launch towards the end of this year.
