- Vijayawada
The closures cover public- and private-sector bank branches in these centres, including branches of State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of Baroda (BoB), Canara Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC and ICICI. - September 21: Banks in Assam and Kerala will mark the Janmotsav of Srimanta Sankardeva/Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi.
- September 22: Banks in Jharkhand will remain closed on account of Karma Puja.
- September 23: Banks in Jammu and Kashmir will be closed for the Birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh Ji.
- September 25: Banks in Sikkim will stay shut for Indrajatra festivities.
- September 26: Banks will be closed due to the Fourth Saturday.
- September 27: Banks will remain closed on Sunday.
The RBI follows a centre-wise holiday calendar, meaning a bank holiday in one city or state does not necessarily mean branches across the country are closed.
