Umesh Shukla’s 102 Not Out’s trailer is finally out! Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor’s reunion in the silver screen is nothing like their previous films Amar Akbar Anthony, Coolie, Naseeb, Kabhie Kabhie, Ajooba etc. In this film, Big B plays a role of a 102-year-old father of a 75-year-old son played by Kapoor. Needless to say, the trailer is full of quirky moments, fun and emotional! However, you really cannot miss these 5 moments from it! Bachchan and Kapoor’s awkward bonding will leave you in splits but will keep you curious about the story.

The Weird Record!

Amitabh Bachchan’s unmatchable energy will remind you of his character in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku. The upbeat and funny old man has a weird urge to break the record of world’s oldest man who was of 119 years of age. The zeal in his voice and eyes while talking about this is unmissable! Also don’t miss his takiya kalaam- ‘YO’!

The Love Letter

The cool dad of a relatively boring son makes fun of his ‘shuddh hindi’. This is B-town’s first father who compels his son to write a love letter to his wife. And when he does it (unwillingly), Big B makes sure that it is done right! However, the cuss word used by Kapoor in the letter and the hilarious expressions on reading it is something we can relate to!

The Awkward Moments

Even though Mr Bachchan is in no mood to spare his child, Rishi has underplayed excellently. While Amitabh Bachchan steals the attention with his high energy, one cannot miss Rishi Kapoor’s awkward acting. An always irritated Kapoor gives in to his father’s wishes for the sake of his love and that’s what exactly makes his character lovable.

Emotions, Emotions!

There are not many emotional moments in the trailer. In fact there are none, except for that one scene. Amitabh Bachchan’s moist eyes and deep hollow voice while saying that one should only remember the childhood and not the mistakes, will take you aback. This scene promises us an emotional journey ahead!

Jimit Trivedi

Even though the trailer is all about these two superstars, their act would be incomplete without the hilarious reactions by the young actor with them. His stolen laughs and curiosity about everything happening in the house is adorable. His character is quite like his role in Bhool Bhulaiya.

With the trailer, we can see that the movie is going to win the hearts for sure! The Umesh Shukla directorial is based on a Gujarati play written by Saumya Joshi. The film will hit the screens on May 4 this year.
