Aamir Khan will bring his sole film in 2018 with Thugs of Hindostan, what is touted as the biggest Hindi film of the year. The big-budget Bollywood spectacle is a period pirate saga that is directed by Victor aka Vijay Krishna Acharya. The movie also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh and is scheduled to release this Diwali. But after Thugs of Hindostan, Aamir Khan is not ready to spill out which movie he is working on next.

He was supposed to star the late Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma biopic, Salute, which he later passed on to Shah Rukh Khan (who also hasn't confirmed this movie yet). He is also co-producing the Gulshan Kumar biopic with T-Series, but won't play the lead in it, So what's really Aamir Khan up to after Thugs of Hindostan?

There was a rumour that Aamir Khan walked out of Salute because he wanted to dedicate the next 10 years of his life to a HUGE franchise? It was reported that he is joining hands with Reliance Entertainment for a Rs 1000 crore Mahabharat trilogy. Again, there is no confirmation on this.

However, recently, Aamir Khan was spotted at the airport and the pictures that were taken of him give a big clue that he is on board the Mahabharata project.

As you can see in his hand, Aamir is holding the book called The Condensed Mahabharata of Vyasa. Knowing the marketing genius in him, is this Aamir Khan's way of telling the media, and thereby the world, that Mahabharata project is on?

Well, we are truly waiting for an official announcement of the same. Any project that has Aamir Khan's name in it is bound to create excitement and the fact that he wants to make Indian cinema's biggest film is just making our wait more anxious.
