The film is being bankrolled by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, and Manushi apparently has already begun preparing for the film, in which she will essay the role of Shanyukta. "She is doing a lot of acting and dance workshops. She has been reading about the time zone in which the period saga is set in. It's an epic love story that will be one of the biggest highlights from the production house in the coming years," the source further added.

Prithviraj Chauhan, he was an Indian King from the Chauhan dynasty ruled in the Delhi region of north-western India.
