Alia Bhatt is right now juggling between the success of her film 'Gully Boy' and her best friend's wedding. The star is the bridesmaid at her BFFs wedding and just like 'Safeena', she made sure that she gets into this real-life role with perfection as well! Needless to say, she looked g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s in a sky blue lehenga by Anita Dongre. She wore a yellow embellished choli, paired with a shiny pastel blue lehenga. She completed this classy traditional look with a bright blue netted dupatta. Katrina Kaif Is in Awe of Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy; Says Alia Bhatt Lights Up the Screen.

The look might remind you of a wedding scene from her debut film, Student of the Year. There came more pictures crawling out on the social media from this grand wedding, where you can also spot Alia's friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor. Check out the beautiful pictures below and you can take some inspiration for your upcoming traditional function!

Just as we mentioned above, the dimpled beauty is enjoying her share of good reviews for her bold, fierce character, Safeena. Leaving aside the memes on her 'mar jaayenga tu' dialogue, her stellar performance in Gully Boy easily fits into her 'one of the best performances' list. With the likes of Siddhanth Chaturvedi a.k.a MC Sher and Ranveer taking the maximum screen space, Alia shining bright amid them is indeed commendable.

In fact, Alia herself thinks that the role was destined to be hers. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, she said, "I had tears in my eyes in the end of the narration. I was very overwhelmed. There was no question in my head whether I needed to be a part of this script or not. I was very clear. I knew there was only one person who could have done this part and that was me." Well, we hope to see more such performances from her end but before that happens, let her enjoy the wedding of her bestie first!
