Vidyut Jammwal, Adah Sharma and Angira Dhar starrer Commando 3 recently hit the screens. The hunk has managed to impress his audience always with his martial arts skills, chiselled body and hot looks! Hence, after the popularity of the Commando 1, Commando 2; the makers came up with this third installment of the franchise which has received a moderate response. But looks like the film might be this weekend's choice of the fans as day one collected a decent amount at the ticket windows. Commando 3 Movie Review: Vidyut Jammwal, Angira Dhar, Adah Sharma’s Action Film Is Fun and Entertaining but Oh-So-Silly.
On the first day, Commando 3 raked in Rs 4.74 crore at box office windows. This can be termed as a pretty decent start the makers for a working Friday. The weekend is expected to see a better result though. If one goes by the past first day collections of this action-oriented franchise, this one seems to be on the second position. The 2013 released flick Commando collected Rs 3.69 crore on day one while Commando 2 released in 2017 earned Rs 5.14 crore. Check out the tweet below.
Commando 3 Box Office Deets!
#Commando3 is decent on Day 1... Gathered momentum post evening shows, after a dull start in the morning... Needs to cover lost ground on Day 2 and 3 for a respectable weekend total... Fri ₹ 4.74 cr. #India biz.

The film is also competing with Anupam Kher-Dev Patel starrer Hotel Mumbai based on the Mumbai terror attacks incident. It collected Rs 1.08 crore. The limited screens can be one of the reasons for this slow start.
Speaking of Commando 3, the flick is directed by Aditya Datt and bankrolled by Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The flick also has a supporting cast of Gulshan Devaiah, Rajesh Tailang, Virendra Saxena, Vibhawari Deshpande to name a few. Which movie are you planning to watch this weekend- Commando 3 or Hotel Mumbai?
