Back when Karan Johar had announced Kalank and subsequently released its ensemble star cast, the casting coup made all the noise. The movie stars Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles and also has actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha. Kalank also marks the re-union of actors Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt, who are also a part of the star cast. Over the past week, the makers released character posters of the cast, reviews for which have only been very encouraging. Kalank: Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha or Madhuri Dixit, Whose Look Received the Loudest Cheer From You?

However, as opposed to the original release date of April 19, the movie has been preponed by the makers and will now arrive in theatres 2 days prior, i.e. April 17, reports in Mumbai Mirror read.

A source close to the paper was quoted as saying, “The idea is to capitalise on Mahavir Jayanti as well as Good Friday, besides Saturday and Sunday. It’s an extended weekend with two partial holidays. And going by past records, it’s a good time for a big film to release.” Captain Marvel Full Movie in HD Leaked on TamilRockers for Free Download, Watch Online on YesMovies in Hindi: Climax of Brie Larson’s Movie Gives Out Avengers: Endgame Spoilers?

This does seem to be a smart decision from the business point of view as the movie can enjoy an uninterrupted run until Avengers: Endgame releases on April 26. The Marvel movie is again, one of the most eagerly awaited films this year.

Coming back to Kalank, it has already been reported that the idea for the movie was conceptualized by the late Yash Johar almost 15 years ago and Karan has finally come through with the film. Karan and the entire cast of the movie has been at the receiving end of compliments ever since their looks were dropped on social media last week, and the buzz around the movie only seems to be increasing with each passing day.
