It has been ten days since Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha starrer Dream Girl hit the screens. Since the day of its release, the film has managed to have a steady run at the box office. Despite other big releases, Dream Girl, a mid-range film, has performed excellently at the ticket windows. The total collection of Dream Girl stands at Rs 97.65 crore. Will it cross Rs 100 crore mark today?

On the opening day Dream Girl earned Rs 10.05 crore, breaking records of other mid-range films released this year. It includes Vicky Kaushalā€™s Uri: The Surgical Strike, Kartik Aaryanā€™s Luka Chuppi and also the recently released Sushant Singh Rajputā€™s Chhichhore. On September 13 there was one more film that clashed with Dream Girl. It was Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha starrer Section 375, which failed in terms of box office collection.

Dream Girl has had a great run in all these days. The film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa was co-produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures. The film also starred Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz in key roles.
