The Filmfare Awards Marathi 2025 were held at the Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai on the evening of July 10, 2025. The Filmfare Awards Marathi 10th edition celebrated the past year's best actors, filmmakers, producers, artistes and technicians who ruled the audiences’ hearts in Marathi cinema. The Marathi film Paani, co-produced by renowned actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ Pebble Pictures, took home as many as 10 awards at the Filmfare Awards Marathi 2025 ceremony, including Best Film and Best Director. Priyanka Chopra posted a heartfelt video, congratulating her mother Dr Madhu Chopra, brother Siddharth Chopra and Paani director and co-producer Addinath Kothare – all of whom attended the ceremony – on winning the prestigious Black Lady. The other films winning big include actress-producer Prajaktta Mali’s Phullwanti, actor Rahul Deshpande's Amaltash and Jitendra Joshi-starrer Ghaath. Filmfare Awards Marathi 2025 Best Actor Wins
Mahesh Manjrekar took home the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) trophy, while veteran Marathi playback singer Usha Mangeshkar was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) Filmfare Award trophy went to Vaidehi Parshurami for Ek Don Teen Chaar, which she shared with Prajaktta Mali for Phullwanti. The Best Actor (Critics') Filmfare Award for 2025 went to Jitendra Joshi for Ghaath. There were several special wins, like the Best Supporting Actor (Female) Filmfare Award for Namrata Sambherao for the film Naach Ga Ghuma, and the Best Supporting Actor (Male) Filmfare Award for Kshitish Date for Dharmaveer 2. Filmfare Awards Marathi 2025 Performances and Guests
The Filmfare Awards Marathi 2025 evening was filled with Maharashtrian glamour and also attended by non-Maharashtrian celebrities on the red carpet, including actresses Tabu, Isha Koppikar, and Yamini Malhotra, and actors Jaideep Ahlawat, Rajkummar Rao and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Marathi guests included veteran actors Sachin Pilgaonkar and Mahesh Manjrekar, and veteran actresses Renuka Shahane, Smita Jaykar, Ashwini Bhave and Varsha Usgaoankar. Also present were actresses Sai Tamhankar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Chhaya Kadam, Nikki Tamboli, Aditi Pohankar, Priya Bapat, Mitali Mayekar, and Sneha Wagh, among others. Actor Gashmeer Mahajani of Phullwanti made a dapper appearance, and Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 winner Shiv Thakare was also seen, along with singer Abhijeet Sawant. At the Filmfare Awards Marathi 2025 ceremony, amid other performances, the highlight was viral singer Sanju Rathod, who sang his hit number Shaky Shaky and enthralled the audience.
