It all might have started with a very tiny joke by Sara Ali Khan on Koffee with Karan 6. But we are all set to watch her romance Kartik Aaryan. On screen, of course. The actors have been cast in a romantic movie, being directed by none other than master storyteller Imtiaz Ali. The shooting of the film is in progress and pictures and videos have been surfacing from the sets in Delhi. The movie is rumoured to be a sequel to Imtiaz's previous film, Love Aaj Kal. At least some media portals are convinced of it. Today, the first picture of this movie was released officially.

Sara and Kartik took to their social media pages and shared the first still from the movie, that the internet has dubbed as Love Aaj Kal 2. The makers or the actors refused to reveal the title of the film. Sara and Kartik can be seen cuddling up with each other as they sleep in the picture. A ray of sunshine falls on their faces, making the still look absolutely gorgeous.

The biggest revelation that the said posts make is that this yet-untitled film will release on January 14, 2020. Yes, you read that right. We are almost a year away from the release. This won't be the first time that Imtiaz Ali has been so secretive of the title of his movie. In 2017, we had no clue about the title of Jab Harry Met Sejal, until the makers decided to reveal it officially. We so don't want the repeat of it. Because it was tough to contain the curiosity back then.
