The year has just started but Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have already delivered a Rs 100 crore film in the form of Gully Boy. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the inspiring rap drama was expected to do well because of its hatke storyline, badass music and of course the talented lead pair. So when the film crossed the Rs 100 crore in its first week itself, it wasn't surprising at all. Despite being Mumbai-centric, Gully Boy has managed to impress the audience all across India and that's one reason why the film has done good numbers at the ticket windows. Gully Boy Box Office Collection Day 11: Ranveer Singh-Siddhant Chaturvedi's Inspiring Rap Film Mints Rs 118.35 Crore at Ticket Windows.

After minting Rs 118.35 crore in India till Sunday, February 24, the rap drama slowed down on its second Monday as it added Rs 2.45 crore more to its existing total. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to microblogging site Twitter and revealed the updated figures. He wrote, "#GullyBoy is slowing down... Lifetime biz will depend on how it trends at metros/premium multiplexes when #LukaChuppi and #SonChiriya arrive on Fri... [Week 2] Fri 3.90 cr, Sat 7.05 cr, Sun 7.10 cr, Mon 2.45 cr. Total: ₹ 120.80 cr. India biz."

Further, a report in Boxofficeindia.com has stated, "The second week is looking at collections of 25.50 crore nett and now the lifetime business of the film seems to be heading to the 135 crore nett mark which is roughly what films like Thugs Of Hindostan and Badhaai Ho collected last year. The surprise is that it will be the highest grosser of Alia Bhatt who is the top heroine today." Deepika Padukone Finds Gully Boy Actor Siddhant Chaturvedi Super Cute and We Second That!

With two new films arriving in theatres this week - Kartika Aaryan-Kriti Sanon starrer Luka Chuppi and Sushant Singh Rajput's dacoit drama Sonchiriya, chances are that Gully Boy will slow down further in its third week. In fact, it could end its run in theatres sooner than later. However, for now, Ranveer starrer has few more days to rake in as much moolah as it can at the BO.
