Kangana Ranaut is on her way to follow the Khans' footsteps when it comes to reserving a particular holiday for her movie releases. As Salman Khan had Eid and Akshay Kumar was more inclined towards Independence Day, similarly, the Manikarnika actress is now eyeing the Republic Day slot for all her next projects or so we believe. After enjoying a fairly decent box office success with her last release, Kangana is all set for yet another Republic Day release. The actress' next movie titled Panga with director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari is all set to hit the screens on January 24, 2020. Yup, that's precisely a year after her historical drama was released. Richa Chadha Confesses That She Can't Work With 'Douches' When Speaking About Joining Forces With Kangana Ranaut In Panga.
While the Republic Day weekend is always eyed by all the Bollywood stars for it gives them a larger window at the box office, Kangana seems to consider it very lucky for her. After beating Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Thackeray in the number game, Manikarnika went on to mint Rs 90 crore at the box office. And that's quite a big deal. And keeping in mind the same success, it's only a wise decision on her part to announce the release of her next project on the same date. The actress plays a Kabbadi player in this movie that revolves around a family that laughs, cries, dreams together.

While 2019 still has a long way to end, makers are already busy announcing their movies for the next year. While Kartik Aaryan's Pati Patni Aur Wo remake hits the screens on January 10, we have Sooryavanshi releasing on Eid and Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 4 on Christmas. Seems like the future for B-town is as great as its present.
