This is a very bad phase for those who have deemed the females are playthings and not worth self-respect. Comedian Utsav Chakraborty has been ousted as a sexual offender. His frequent collaborator All India Bakchod (AIB) has been accused of shielding, leading to one of its founder Tanmay Bhat to step out of the group. The reason being, he was aware of Utsav's misdemeanours and did little to take action against him. Later another AIB member Gursimran Khamba has been accused of sexually harassing a girl, and he has been given a leave of absence following investigations. Tanmay Bhat-Gursimran Khamba Step Away From AIB Post Social Media Backlash on Utsav Chakraborty Controversy.

Now add standup comedian Jeeveshu Ahluwalia to this list of offenders. Actually, if the allegations against him are true, it would be a very serious offence. Jeeveshu Ahluwalia has been accused of raping a woman after drugging her. Comedienne Aditi Mittal had shared a message from the victim, who wishes to stay anonymous, where the girl claims that she was roofied by Ahluwalia. The girl said that the comedian had called her for a date. After drinking just one glass of wine, she felt very drunk and while taking her home, Jeeveshu made her perform oral sex on him. Gursimran Khamba of AIB Accused of Sexual Harassment, Comedian Issues Apology But Claims He Didn't Violate Consent; Read Statements.

This is not Jeeveshu's first sexual offence. Earlier, he had misbehaved with a woman, and commented on her dressing style. Jeeveshu has also recently acted in a Bollywood movie, Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi. that starred Sonakshi Sinha and Jimmy Sheirgill.

After the allegations came in light, Jeeveshu has tweeted a note of apology.

Jeeveshu Ahluwalia's talent agency has also parted ways with him after the whole accusation saga came out.

We wonder who else will come under the stampede of the #MeToo movement. Will the big fishes be now targetted? Let's wait and watch!
