After Tanushree Dutta-Nana Patekar’s alleged sexual harassment case emerged, a lot of them are coming out with #metoo movement in India. Celebs like Vikas Bahl, Tanmay Bhat, Chetan Bhagat, Rajat Kapoor are also named under the movement. Recently, a TV serial writer revealed a horrific incident of alleged sexual misbehaviour by Alok Nath. Now, the lead actress of the serial, Navneet Nishan has also backed the statement and said that she dealt with it too.

Speaking with pinkvilla.com, she said, “I fought my battle there and then." She further said, "I dealt with the four-year harassment by slapping the man in question, and it is done and dusted. l suffered the loss of the show and was further shamed by the man through media and I endured that."

The Hum Aapke Hai Kaun actor was asked about all the allegations and he dismissed the allegations. He was quoted saying by Times Now, “That’s her perspective that you’ve gone through and it’s really horrific and it’s like something terrible and that’s her prerogative, her own personal perspective. So I give her a chance, you know, let her, whatever she felt or whatever happened, to be made public.”
