Farah Khan's 2007 film Om Shanti Om was not only a huge blockbuster but was also the Bollywood launchpad of a certain former Kingfisher model, Deepika Padukone. The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer featured many star cameos, many of them playing themselves. Quite a few of them appeared in the "Deewangi Deewangi" song, like Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Rekha, Kajol, et al. Some more celebs featured in the Filmfare function scene like Subhash Ghai, Rishi Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Ameesha Patel, Sanjay Kapoor and in the film's most scene-stealing cameo, Akshay Kumar. Roll, Camera, Action! Amitabh Bachchan's Sholay, Shah Rukh Khan's Om Shanti Om, and Ram Charan-Jr NTR's RRR Feature in Vulture's 100 Most Influential Fights in Movie History.

The scene preceding the Filmfare function also had other cameos like Amitabh Bachchan, Feroz Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Rakesh Roshan, Bappi Lahiri, et al, though they were taken during a real Filmfare event. From the looks of it, we don't think Amitabh Bachchan even knew he was shooting for a cameo in Om Shanti Om.

Now a deleted scene from Om Shanti Om is going viral, and going by the same, Farah Khan had shot more cameos in the above scene and they didn't make it to the final cut. So in this deleted scene, we get to see Ashutosh Gowariker, Farhan Akhtar, Hema Malini, Anu Malik, Javed Akhtar, Boman Irani, R Madhavan, Moushami Chatterjee, Prem Chopra, Sachin Pilgaonkar, Shakti Kapoor, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. It is clear that the celebs were asked to improvise their lines, like R Madhavan calling himself 'Shah Rukh Khan of South', when he should have actually called himself OK of South; OK (or Om Kapoor) being Shah Rukh Khan's character's name in the movie. Shah Rukh Khan’s Om Shanti Om, Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 and 7 More Hindi Films You Didn’t Realise Got Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan 'Together'!

Some other cameos in the scene appear later or earlier in the movie, like Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, Shabana Azmi, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, etc. So is there a Guiness Record for most cameos in a movie? Pretty sure, Om Shanti Om might go for it!
