Call it a clever play on words or his indomitable wit and wisdom, Shah Rukh Khan knows how bring the whole house down. It was yet another occasion when SRK used his humour as indeed his words to make an audience giggle endlessly. In the recently concluded Golden Rose Awards, the megastar presented an award to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The footnote of his speech got everybody's attention for the obvious reason as it was laced with SRK's trademark styled wit.
The 53 year old sighed and remarked how he never got an opportunity to romance the former Miss World. While in Josh, Ash played SRK's twin sister, in Devdas there was hardly any scope of their union as it was a tragic love story of the Shakespearean proportions. But the best remark was delivered by SRK for his film Mohabbtein where the superstar quipped how there was no scope for romance as Aishwarya had played a ghost in the film."Mohabbatein mein yeh bhootni thi," quipped SRK. Golden Rose Awards witnessed the presence of who's who of the industry. From Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol Rekha Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sidharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan--many biggies graced the do. While everybody looked excited about SRK's forthcoming film Zero, may wondered after the megastar's witty remark, will Ash and SRK be paired up in the days to come?
