Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga received a warm response from critics and fans alike. Guess, it was their simpleton avatar coupled with an indistinct yet engaging storyline that won all the appreciation. The film that managed to earn a decent opening of Rs 8 crores was stable in its opening weekend. It was crucial for it to pass the Monday test or should we call it a litmus test to continue having a strong hold at the box office. But did it succeed really? Well, the answer is YES. Varun Dhawan's Sui Dhaaga, Shahid Kapoor's Batti Gul Meter Chalu - Ranking All Bollywood Releases of September From Worst to Best.

Popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to reveal its Monday collections that were slightly lesser than its opening day. He wrote, #SuiDhaaga has a STRONG Day 4... A decline of 15.66% on Day 4 [vis-à-vis Day 1] indicates SOLID HOLD... Big holiday today will boost biz and add to a BIG TOTAL... Fri 8.30 cr, Sat 12.25 cr, Sun 16.05 cr, Mon 7 cr. Total: ₹ 43.60 cr. India biz.

The film's business is expected to boost today since it's a National holiday and coincidentally the subject has a connection to Mahatma Gandhi. Trade pundits are predicting an exceptional growth in its Tuesday collections and we hope Gandhi Jayanti is able to give some much-needed boost to its grand total. With Andhadhun, Loveyatri and Venom releasing on the coming Friday, Sui Dhaaga has barely three days to enjoy a great run at the box office.
